Blockades

Blockade – is a separate siege attack mode. Other modes of attack (reconnaissance / attack / counterattack / counterintelligence / occupation) see section War Mechanics.

The blockade always hangs over the planet / Orbital Station / Space Station and does not itself engage in combat with the planetary fleet or the fleet in the Orbital Station / Space Station. In this case, a blockade attack on a planet is impossible, but from a planet to a blockade is possible. The blockade works as follows:.

  1. When the ships are sent into the blockade, they reach the high orbit of the planet / OS / SS and circle above it without engaging in battle with the ships on the planet / OS / SS.

  2. Any ships flying from or to the blocked planet / OS / SS interact with the blockade:

    1. If you send ships from yourself or from a member of your corporation / clan / alliance to attack / reconnaissance / occupation on a blocked planet, the ships will fly past the blockade without a fight. Otherwise, the ships will fight the blockade first, and only if it is destroyed will they continue their flight to the planet.
    2. If you send ships from yourself or from a member of your corporation / clan / alliance to the blockade on the blocked planet, then the blockade ships will be summed up (there will be several blockades hanging already) . Otherwise, the ships will fight the blockade first, and only if it is destroyed, they will block the planet themselves.

  3. Hercules carrying resources (minerals / modules / energy / Solarium) from or to the blocked planet / OS / SS (as well as empty ones returning from the raid Hercules):

    • fly past the blockade if they are friendly caravans (from the player / clan / corporation / alliance who set the blockade)
    • are automatically attacked by a blockade on approach, if these are not friendly caravans and the blockade fleet does not have the "Boarding" module. If the blockade fleet has the "Boarding" module, then part of the Hercules (depending on the level of the module up to 100% of the ships) are captured by the blockade on the approach and such Hercules become the property of the player who set the blockade and begin to automatically fly to the player's planet from which the blockade was set. At the same time, if the "Boarding" skill is not learned, then the entire load in the captured rolled oats disappears, and if the "Boarding" skill is learned, then part of the loads in the seized rolled oats remains (depending on the skill level up to 100% of the cargo) .

  4. The blockade does not block the movement of the Orbital Station. The OS can jump to a blockade planet without a fight between the blockade and the OS. Also, the OS can make a hyper-jump to the right place from under the blockade without a fight.

  5. If the planet is under the Shield, then it can still be blockaded.

  6. The blockade is visible to everyone in space (planets with blockades are marked with special icons) . At the same time, you can see what kind of blockade it is - a friendly (from yourself or a player of your corporation / clan / alliance) or enemy. The blockaded player sees a red alert on his planet "Blockade" and the composition of ships in the blockade.

  7. Support cannot be sent to Blockade.

  8. The blockade can only last 6 hours (or more for each level of the "Blockade duration" skill, which gives additional time to the limit) . At the end of the blockade, the ships return to their original planet.

  9. One player can place a maximum of 1 Blockade simultaneously on different planets / SS of other players. There is a skill "Blockade", which increases the number of simultaneous blockades to a maximum of 7 pieces. In this case, the limit takes into account the fact of sending the blockade, and not unique planets. Those. with a limit of 6, you can send blockades to 6 different planets or 6 blockades to one planet!

  10. The blockade can be revoked ahead of time.

  11. The blockade will be able to rob the energy from the planet / SS over which it hangs every hour, but under a number of conditions (the robbed energy is charged only when the blockade returns) :

    1. If the "Energosputnik" module was used when sending the blockade. Depending on the combat power of the blockade fleet and the level of the "Energosputnik" module, a different amount of energy can be looted from the blockade planet / SS every hour.
    2. If there is Energy on the blocked planet / SS and it is robbed (There is a skill ”Energy Storage”, which does not allow robbing energy more than the minimum threshold, which is increased with each skill level) . The skill gives an unbreakable energy limit for the entire player's account and not for each planet separately.
    3. If there is no Shield on the blocked planet.
    4. The blocked fleet includes ships with a free number of holds to accommodate the loot. If they clog, then the blockade will continue to hang without robbing energy.

  12. The blockade will be able to rob 1 Solarium every 5 hours from the planet / SS over which it hangs, but under a number of conditions (the robbed Solarium is credited only when the blockade returns) :

    1. If the "Military satellite" module was used when sending the blockade.
    2. If there is a Solarium on the blocked planet / SS and it is robbed (according to the point limit and the corresponding skill “Solarium Storage”) . The skill gives an unbreakable Solarium limit for the entire player's account and not for each planet separately.
    3. If there is no Shield on the blocked planet.
    4. The blocked fleet includes ships with a free number of holds to accommodate the loot. If they get clogged, the blockade will continue to hang without robbing the Solarium.

  13. If there are missiles on the blocked planet / CS, they are automatically fired back on the blockade until their number is exhausted or the blockade is removed / destroyed. When new missiles are produced, they also automatically fire at the blockade. Not every type of missile can fire at a blockade.
